Good morning,State police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Tioga County. Authorities say an eighty-eight-year-old driver turned into the path of an oncoming Harley-Davidson on Route 96 in Candor on Saturday. The motorcyclist was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital, where he died from his injuries.A local auto dealer has been arrested after a customer used a smartphone app to catch him joyriding in their car. Forty-six-year-old William H. Cook of Elmira faces a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. State police say the victim left their car at Cook's Elmira Heights business for detailing on Tuesday, but later received mobile notifications showing the vehicle had been unlocked and driven to the Texas Roadhouse in Horseheads. Troopers responded to the restaurant, found the vehicle, and caught Cook behind the wheel. He was issued an appearance ticket for Horseheads Town Court.And outgoing Elmira College President Doctor Charles Lindsay and his wife, Janna, have received the Key to the City.
