Good morning.Pennsylvania State Police have uncovered brand-new leads in a fifty-three-year-old cold case homicide and are asking for the public's help. Investigators are seeking two suspects in the nineteen-seventy-three death of twenty-two-year-old Frank Dewayne Iwanejko of New Castle. Authorities say Iwanejko was killed during an attempted robbery at a quarry off Covert Road after refusing to hand over money. Anyone with information is urged to contact the New Castle Crime Unit.An investigation continues into what sparked a heavy house fire on New Castle’s east side. Fire crews rushed to the scene after massive plumes of smoke were seen pouring from the home. Off-duty responders were called in to battle the blaze, which caused severe interior and exterior damage. No injuries were reported.And the Historic Warner Cascade Theatre Museum in New Castle has launched a massive one-point-five-million-dollar fundraising campaign.
